The Greater Irvington Land Trust (or “GILT”) is a group of local community members dedicated to promoting and protecting open space and parkland in Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Tarrytown, Hastings, and East Irvington. Our work includes advocating for the preservation of open space, restoring and enhancing local ecosystems, and promoting environmental education. Our overall goal is to foster knowledge about, interest in, protection of, and care for our community’s unique environment and natural resources.
